Uninsured or Self Pay

  1. Review Schedule of Fee’s for services.
  2. Set up a free 15-minute consultation to determine the type of services needed.
  3. The following counseling services are available: individual, couples, and family.
  4. Decide if Dr. Jamie Cross Lee is qualified to provide services to you by reviewing her ABOUT page.

All mental health professionals have specializations based on their education, certifications, and professional licensing.

 Using Health Insurance Plan

  1. Call health insurance plan to determine if Dr. Jamie Cross Lee is an in-network mental health provider.
  2. Check to see if you have to meet a mental health deductible prior to the health insurance plan paying for counseling services.
  3. If you have not met your mental health deductible, you will be responsible for paying out-of-pocket for all counseling services until you have met the deductible.
  4. Please verify if you have a copayment. The copayment is a fee that the client is responsible for paying out-of-pocket.
  5. Check to see how many counseling sessions your health plan will cover annually.
  6. Email or Call to set up your 15-minute consultation.

What does paying out-of-pocket mean?

The client will self-pay for counseling services and the counselor will submit a claim to your health plan showing you’ve paid for the counseling services and the payment will be credited towards your mental health deductible balance until it reaches zero. Once the deductible has been met, the client will only be responsible for paying a copayment if their plan has one.

EAP

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a voluntary, work-based program that offers free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related problems.

  1.  Call EAP company to determine if Dr. Jamie Cross Lee is an authorized counselor in their database.
  2. If so, get a client number and/or authorization number for a designated number of counseling sessions.
  3. Some EAP companies require you to give them the date of your first appointment before counseling services are authorized.
  4. Counselor will need the authorization number and the number of approved counseling sessions.
  • The authorization number ensures that the EAP benefits have been confirmed and the client will be able to schedule the pre-determined number of counseling sessions.
  • Please make sure you follow ALL instructions given to you by the EAP company. Otherwise, clients who do not set up authorizations correctly, could be responsible for payment of counseling services.
